There are no words for this past summer! God is so awesome!! I loved every moment that God gave me. Working at camp was amazing and He just showed me even more my love for kids. Each and every week I was there I took away something! Just being in the wilderness and allowing Christ to consume you is something wonderful. Through camp I met some amazing friends that I miss so much. I wish that camp was just year around, but I guess that's what being a missionary is.
Coming home from camp I have noticed a stronger call to missions. I am so excited, I have no idea where I wanna go and serve. The amazing thing about that is, God does and I so excited. People ask, "Why, why leave something that you know and leave it all behind?" It is so simple: because I love God, I want people to know the good news! Is it going to be hard! Sure, but God did not say this walk with Him was going to be easy. He said that we would be persecuted, people wouldn't like us. That seems harsh but if The Creator of the world loves me so much to the point of death on a cross and people would laugh and make fun of me because of my faith, well let them. I have a just and right God on my side who will protect me.
At this point in my life I have no idea where God is calling me. Having faith and trusting him is something I need. Surrendering my wants to him. Allowing him to consume me and fill me with his spirit.
