1John 2:15-17

As I sit in my duel enrollment class I hear one explicit word after another. The first thought that roles into my mind,"did she really just say that?!?". Thin I think, this is what the WORLD is coming to. In Romans 12 it talks about how we are not to be conformed to this world. Also in 1 John it talks about how we are not to love the things of the things earth. As Christians we are to stand out, be different from the world. My next question is, am I different? Do people see a change in me, do they see Christ through me? Do they see how Christ has changed me? If I live like Christ is in the center, they will see a difference. 

 That's my prayer,
As People pass, And even if they don’t know my name
Is there evidence that I’ve been changed, When they see me, do they see You, I want to live like that, And give it all I have, So that everything I say and do,Points to You.

  Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2

 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life is not from the Father but is from the world.  And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever. 1John 2:15-17
